Earlier this year, Gino's Vino Austin celebrated its third year in business with a big Valentine's Special Menu.  Reflecting on the restaurant’s first 3 years, Gino said “People are always surprised to find an old-fashioned, Rat-Pack style Italian restaurant tucked into the corner of a modern 350-room hotel, but we knew this was the location we wanted, right in the middle of the burgeoning Mueller district.”

“We’ve had great crowds, and there really is no other place like Gino’s Vino in Austin” he adds.  “We make all our own pastas and mozzarella, incredible entrees from our Chef and his crew, specialty cocktails that I’ve invented over the years, and we provide an unique level of service and entertainment to our customers.”

ABOUT US

Gino's Vino Osteria is the creation of veteran restaurant proprieter Gino Catanucci and his wife Li Ping. Their vision was to bring to Austin an old-world style Italian restaurant that provides a truly unique and memorable dining experience.  The focus at Gino's Vino is on customer satisfaction, offering original recipes from ingrediants made from scratch, in a comfortable home-like atmosphere.

The environment is warm and welcoming from the moment you walk in the door, where you will often be greeted by Gino himself or his lovely wife Ping.  The originality and quality of the food, the huge wine selection and award-winning cocktails, the courteous service, and the top-notch live entertainment have become the calling card of Gino's Vino Osteria.

The approach has definitely paid off, as Gino’s Vino has received hundreds of 5 star reviews online on Yelp, TripAdvisor, Google, Facebook and many other review sites.

Servers prepare delicious tableside Caesar salads and desserts like Flaming Chocolate Ravioli, and the menu is brimming with delicious entrees such as Tortellini di Formaggio e Salsiccia and Bistecca Alla Pizzaiola.  Gino himself can usually be found behind the bar whipping up one of his award-winning cocktails, out on the floor taking care of patrons, or occasionally blowing a mean harmonica with the live musicians that regularly perform.

Gino and Ping just recently opened up a second Gino's Vino restaurant in Round Rock, and already the response has been phenomenal. "It's a real pleasure to bring the personal touch of Gino's Vino to the Round Rock area, and it's already been a big hit!" says Gino. "Stop on by and say Hi when you're in the area!"
